Artist/writer Ming Doyle joins this episode to discuss her recent work, including last year's phenomenal woman centric mafia story, DC/Vertigo's "The Kitchen". She divulges the nature of reverent nostalgia vs. kitsch, how American comic artists work vs. manga studios, her time co-writing "Constantine: The Hellblazer" with James Tynion IV and making bisexuality more than his "cool trick", along with fan attachment to THAT coat. Currently she is pencilling "Girl Over Paris" with writer Kate Leth, based on the popular YA novels by Gwenda Bond, and has a story in "Love is Love", the comic anthology benefitting families of the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando.
