Peter Bagge has one of the most legendary styles in indie comics history. His Buddy Bradley and "Hate" comics were a pivotal part of 90s Seattle underground culture and his work still shows up in a diverse array of places, from DC and Marvel to Mad magazine and political journals. He discusses overcoming the "slacker" and grunge stigma, engages in an extensive discussion of Zora Neale Hurston and race relations in light of Ferguson, and where he gets treated better- indie art shows or Wizard World. It's a funny conversation with many enlightening moments.
