Please excuse the boomy audio of this episode, it was recorded live from the International School of Comics in Chicago. This is a very special dialogue with artists Jill Thompson (Scary Godmother, Wonder Woman: The True Amazon, Sandman), Jim Terry (The Crow: Skinning the Wolves, Alice Cooper vs. CHAOS), and Maria Wolf Lopez. Separately, the three of them have gone to the Standing Rock camp in ND where Native American Water Protectors are trying to prevent construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, which will pollute important water aquifers all across the midwest. They explain the situation from an eye witness perspective, discuss what supplies are desperately needed at the camps, extol on the spirituality and generosity the people and Maria tells us of her experiences at the first Indigenous Comic Convention.

I hope you enjoy this very serious and enlightening episode. Please go to www.standingrock.org for more current information and ways to help.
