Double Page Spread

Double Page Spread is a comic book creator interview show hosted by Wendi Freeman. Every week she delves into the minds and inspirations of artists and writers to explore what makes comic books such a wonderful medium. She explores many aspects of fandom and comics from the smallest indie to the big 2.

Wendi is joined by returning friends, Dan Pua and Andrew Shaw! Together they discuss the recent crossover event b/t DC Comics characters and Looney Tunes, in particular Tom King and Lee Weeks "Batman/Elmer Fudd", Jimmy Palmiotti and Mark Texeira "Jonah Hex/Yosemite Sam" and Bill Morrison and Kelley Jones "Lobo/Roadrunner" specials. Do these succeed in entertaining on all levels or should they sink like Wile E. Coyote off of a cliff?

Also some MMA chat as Andrew Shaw tells us about his recent Brazilian Jiu Jitsu belt testing, and the gang tries to convince everyone why they should watch the now defunct Frank Grillo drama, "Kingdom".

Brought to you by www.DCBService.com, the Discount Comic Book Service, where you can order these DC/Looney Tunes crossovers and so much more for 50% off!

As well as www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com, just because the eclipse has passed, their line of eclipse related fragrances has not!
