Artist Tana Ford has carved out a name for herself in autobiographical comics, slice of life stories, mainstream Spider-man tales and historical narratives. Her style bounces around from the dynamic fun of "Silk" to map illustrations. In this episode she talks about Sean Gordon Murphy's mentorship program, the "bury your gays" trope, winning the Prism Comics Queer Press grant for her book "Duck!", gives her cocktail recipe for the Tanhattan, and tells some incredibly heartwarming and courageous stories from the history of the Boston Marathon.
